Here is my home made Z Axis Touch Plate
While building my all steel CNC router Z axis • Home Made CNC Z Axis
I realized it was an ideal time to build and configure a Z-Axis Touch plate
to Zero the Z-Axis for stock or tool bit changes.
I have built these before, and they are simple. Use any switch you have at hand,
some metal or plastic block to glue the switch on, and two conductor wire.
The tricky part is wiring the USB Mach3 Control Board and configuring Mach3 for the
USB board and the visual basic routine. I go into detail on how to wire, configure and program the Mach3 key - check it out!
