All the shotguns recently received a buff in their spread and consistency, the Specter included. I have always tried to find good weapons that allow me to play aggressively, and I would argue that the specter is one of the best. It is a cheaper alternative to the Auto-5 but it isn't anywhere near as outclassed as the pricing would have you think.
