RV10's and RV14 to the Bahamas - 2018

June 2018 we headed down to the Exumas for vacation again...a tougher time of the year to go there due to plenty of rain in Florida and over the islands, but after rounding some storms both on the way and the way back, it was a good trip. It's becoming much more commercialized and less cozy every year, but you just can't beat the white sand beaches.
Danielle finished her Private Pilot at the end of May, and then on June 14 she headed to Disney for school where the band played at Disney. That gave Andrea a chance to do her first long x/c in the RV-14 with no other pilots aboard, as we took both planes to Florida. Danielle took over from there for the Bahamas flying. With Danielle and Andrea piloting the RV14, and both planes along, we had seats for my folks in the RV10, and my good buddy joined us for the trip in his RV10 also. The video is just a few highlights, but since we forgot our good cameras, it's all we have to remember it by. Look to my website in a few days for the standard trip write-up.
