Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has brutally shut down a reporter after being questioned about his staffing.
The interaction came during a diplomatic meeting between American and Saudi officials.
Mr Hegseth was asked by a reporter about his recent selection for the next Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The reporter asked why Mr Hegseth appointed an “underqualified retired lieutenant general to be the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff."
Mr Hegseth slammed the reporter's question before moving on.
“I’m going to choose to reject your unqualified question.”
