Full Motorcycle Engine Disassembly & Assembly Using an Impact Wrench TVS 150cc

I spent a very long time searching the internet for a proper video showing a full engine disassembly and assembly using an impact wrench whether motorcycle or car engine.

All I could find were videos of people tightening wheel nuts, comparing impact wrenches, and talking endlessly, but no real engine work. That’s when I realized there was a big gap that no one was willing to address.

So in this video, we decided to do it ourselves.

This is a complete disassembly and assembly of a TVS 150cc motorcycle engine using an impact wrench, from start to finish. No shortcuts. No lug nut demonstrations. Just real mechanical work inside the African Mechanics Garage.

This video was edited from a longer project where we replaced the crankshaft on this same TVS 150cc engine, and the impact wrench proved to be a game-changer, making the work faster and easier in a real garage environment.

My honest answer: Start with a 500Nm impact wrench.
It sits perfectly between light duty and heavy duty and can handle most mechanical jobs. From there, you can decide whether to go higher or lower depending on your work.
