Pakistan is slowly becoming a “zero entertainment country” — no parks, no safe public spaces, cinemas shutting down, no sports grounds for youth, and no real halal tafreeh for families. In this video, I talk about the entertainment crisis in Pakistan: why we have nowhere to chill, how this lack of entertainment is affecting our mental health, family life and youth, and what we can do to fix it.

From closed cinemas and dead theatre culture to concrete jungles with no parks, this episode explores how our cities were never designed for joy — only for survival. I also discuss how economic pressure, security issues, extreme narratives around “haram vs halal” entertainment, and the lack of safe spaces for women have all turned Pakistan into a fun-starved nation where there is “no fun, only stress”.
