Watch This DIY Shed Build Save Me $3000 - A 10 minute time lapse that took place over several days while we built our new DIY backyard storage shed / shop / tiny house. My wife and I are not experienced builders and this is actually the first shed we have built. The job was a lot of work but the end result is amazing. Additional information about this 12'X16' DIY Shed Build
-The outside measurement of the floor base is 12' X 16'
-Treated 2"X6" floor joists 16" on center
-2"x4" wall studs are 16" on center
-The walls are 7' 6" from the floor to the top of the double top plate
-2"x6" DIY trusses are 24" on center with a 8/12 pitch
-The shed is sitting on three treated 4"X6"X16' runners on a bed of gravel
