NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD Panel – Steel City Con August 2021

Night of the Living Dead writers and actors John Russo and Russell Streiner gave a panel at Steel City Con August 2021 to discuss the zombie movie that started it all, their careers and to answer fan questions.

John Russo wrote Night of the Living Dead and also played a Washington military reporter in the film. He also wrote The Return of the Living Dead, Santa Claws, My Uncle John is a Zombie, Heartstopper and Voodoo Dawn. As an actor he also appeared in The Majorettes, Santa Claws, House of Frankenstein and Killer Campout, among others.

Russ Streiner was Johnny in Night of the Living Dead (1968) and Sheriff Mccelland in the 1990 version of the film. He also appeared in They’re Here, My Uncle John is a Zombie, The Liberation of Cherry Janowski, There’s Always Vanilla and The Majorettes. He was also a writer on Return of the Living Dead.
