बांग्लादेश में जारी हिंसा और अस्थिरता के बीच भारत ने स्थिति पर कड़ी नजर बना ली है. CNN News18 को सूत्रों के हवाले से पता चला है कि भारत और बांग्लादेश के सेना प्रमुख सीधे संपर्क में हैं और जमीनी हालात पर लगातार बातचीत हो रही है. मकसद साफ है, सीमा के दोनों ओर हालात काबू में रहें और किसी भी तरह की स्थिति बिगड़ने न पाए. बांग्लादेश के सेना प्रमुख जनरल वाकर उज जमान ने भारतीय सेना प्रमुख को भरोसा दिलाया है कि बांग्लादेश में मौजूद सभी भारतीय ठिकाने पूरी तरह सुरक्षित हैं.

Amid the ongoing violence and instability in Bangladesh, India is closely monitoring the situation. CNN News18 has learned from sources that the army chiefs of India and Bangladesh are in direct contact and are constantly discussing the situation on the ground. The objective is clear: to keep the situation under control on both sides of the border and prevent any escalation. Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar Uz Zaman has assured the Indian Army Chief that all Indian bases in Bangladesh are completely safe. He said that despite the current tensions, Bangladesh is fully committed to maintaining security. The situation in Bangladesh worsened after the death of anti-India radical leader Sharif Osman Hadi. Hadi was shot in Dhaka and taken to Singapore for treatment, where he died on Thursday. He was a prominent figure in the July uprising and had become a major symbol for protesters against the interim government.
