You need phillips screwdriver, two 12V 7.0 - 9.0 AH Sealed Lead-Acid or Lead-Calcium batteries (check size) and have small pliers available. Both batteries MUST be same voltage, capacity and type. Don't mix old and new. Takes about 15 minutes to do. Disconnect AC power before opening the unit and recycle old batteries. Good luck.
