All objects in the world have vibrations. Even in a stationary state, it is said that there is a slight vibration when something is observed under a microscope.
The vibration of such an object vibrates the air, vibrates the eardrum, and is transmitted to the auditory cells, and our brain sees the waves in this space as sound.
All of these processes, in which the sounds I hear, the things that vibrate in me out of the countless tremors, gather to become my music, the tremors of the music make me meet new people, and the people I meet resonate with the same rhythm and create another work of art. It is undoubtedly the greatest gift that sound can give me.
I would like to express my gratitude to choreographer Jinyeob Cha, artist Bongsu Park, mastering engineer Hoon Cheon, who worked with me on this project, Jaeyoung Shin, Nansaem Yoo, and Takgyu You, who made the video, and Guchan Kim for wonderful support and design of the album.
If this music can reach someone I don’t know and make the same vibration and shake it together, it will be a blissful moment for me, making my own small vibration in this infinite world of music.
 The vinyl album will be released in the fall of 2021.

세상의 모든 물체들은 떨림을 갖고 있다.

정지 상태의 물체도 현미경으로 관찰하면 미세한 떨림이 있다고 하는데, 이런 물체의 떨림은 공기를 진동 시켜 고막을 울리고 청각 세포로 전달되어 우리의 뇌가 이 공간의 파동을 보는 것을 소리라고 한다.

내가 듣는 소리들, 수많은 떨림 중에서 나를 진동시키는 것들이 모여 나의 음악이 되고, 그 음악의 떨림이 새로운 사람들을 만나게 하고, 그렇게 만난 사람들이 모여 같은 리듬으로 공명하며 또 다른 작품을 만들게 되는 이 모든 과정들은 소리가 내게 주는 가장 큰 선물임에 틀림없다.

이 작업에 함께 해준 현대무용가 차진엽, 작가 박봉수, 마스터링 엔지니어 전훈, 영상을 만들어 준 신재영, 유난샘, 유탁규 작가, 앨범 디자인과 조언을 아끼지 않은 김구찬 님께 감사의 마음을 전한다.

이 음악이 내가 모르는 누군가에게 닿아서 같은 진동을 만들어 함께 흔들릴 수 있다면, 이 무한한 음악의 세계에서 작은 떨림을 만들고 있는 나에게 더없이 행복한 순간이 될 것 같다.

이 앨범은 2021년 가을에 바이닐로 발매 예정입니다.
