How To Make a Wooden Smoothing Plane - Ash and Purple heart - Long Form

This is the steps I used to make a smoothing plane for the 1000 Subscriber giveaway.

I had a lot of people asking for more information on making these I I decided to make a longer video detailing what all went into making these.

The body is Ash and it has a Purple Heart sole. all told they took about 60 hours to make and I ended up with about 13 hours of footage.

I have to say this was probably my favorite build of all time! so many skills to learn and little problems to solve!
