I am growing very fond of my ACB community call friends as we enjoyed a second call on Wednesday March 5th. The call started with a discussion of grilling, as per the request of one of the members. Exactly how grilling differs from sautéing and frying was explained, in addition to the broiling method of cooking food. Then 5 adaptive culinary tools to help grillers with vision loss to cook more safely and independently were discussed. The floor was then opened to questions and we covered a lot of ground, including how to make fried eggs, ways to measure liquid ingredients such as hot sauce, and Worchester sauce accurately and without waste.
