I made this playlist during a time when life was really life-ing. I had just left a high-paying corporate job to follow God’s direction, ended up in toxic work environments that drained me mentally, emotionally, and physically. I was grieving losses, fighting for fair treatment/compensation, battling health issues, and still being expected to hold everything together like I wasn’t falling apart inside.
Calm and Patient was my reminder to breathe, to rest, to trust God’s timing and that I still had purpose in all. of it even when nothing made sense. These songs spoke to me when I couldn’t find the words.. when I needed to cry, reflect, or just feel seen. It’s full of soul, warmth, and quiet strength. If you’ve ever been in a season where you felt overlooked, overwhelmed, or just tired… this is for you.
