The cross is not just a historical event , it is a personal story, a defining moment in the relationship between God and humanity. Jesus’ words, "Father, forgive them," are not just for those who crucified Him but for each of us. His suffering was not general; it was deeply personal. Every drop of blood, every cry of pain, was for my sins, my failures, and my redemption.
If we truly embrace the forgiveness of the cross, we will live free, not in guilt, but in gratitude. We will see forgiveness not as a burden, but as a gift to share. Just as Christ forgave without hesitation, we too are called to extend mercy, knowing that His love has already paid the price.
May we never forget the cry that broke heaven and redeemed our souls.
