Recently I traded in my Ef Note gear Roland gear. I've posted a few prior videos with play explanations behind my rational and play throughs. This begins a four part series comparing each aspect of the drum set. Arguably, the hi hat is the most expressive instrument in any drum kit electric or acoustic. For electric drum makers, its also the hardest instrument to get right. In my opinion, these are the best two examples of electric hi hats as the world stands today.
