DRUM COVER - Stay The Night by Chicago

Decided to look into the post-Terry Kath era Chicago, and got into this tune from Chicago 17. After looking up some information on the recording of this album as I had learned before that there were some other drummers that played in place of Seraphine during that time, I found out that the one and only Jeff Porcaro recorded this tune with the band! I do not mean to knock Danny's playing at all, as I believe that the band is somewhat false in saying that his playing was suffering at this time, but Porcaro definitely makes this song with his groove, and I knew I had to cover it! I tried my best to replicate the sounds he got in the recording, which could possibly be Simons drums as I know that was an excuse the band used when telling Danny that Jeff had recorded on the album (along with Carlos Vega on You're The Inspiration). There are a couple other tunes from this era of Chicago that I'd like to get to at some point, so stay tuned!
