Breast cancer is the most common cancer amongst women in India, with an unsettling trend of striking them at least 10 years earlier than their counterparts in Western countries. It is also increasingly being seen in women under 40 years of age.
Therefore, it's important for women of all age groups, including menstruating teenagers, to learn to perform a self-breast examination.
