Protective Styling || Mini Twist || Naturally Candace

I promise I’m not going to lock my hair! Lol

Today’s video is the first protective style of the year. The mini twist. I used to hate this style because I felt like it made me look so childlike. But I’ve come to actually love it. I promised myself as a part of my hair rehab that I would protective style for as long as needed, and mini twist are so easy to do. And you can’t forget that can last up to a month.

I started by parting my hair in 5 sections, and started with the back. The size of the twist is totally up to you but I decided for a pencil size twist. This size took me about 3 and a 1/2 hours to complete. You can free style by just grabbing hair and twisting, or do the section method like myself.

Things Needed
[ ] Comb
[ ] Hair clips
[ ] Water ( I used Aloe Vera water)
[ ] Styler ( I went with eco styler gel. Gives great hold and doesn’t dry the hair out )
[ ] Mirror ( optional )
