雅楽 朗詠「嘉辰」/ Japanese ancient song Rouei “Kashin”

平安時代の貴族たちが漢詩に節を付け歌い楽しんだ「朗詠」

その中でも有名な「嘉辰」をソロで歌ってみました。

嘉辰令月歓無極　萬歳千秋楽未央

（かしんれいげつかんむきょく　ばんぜいせんしゅうらくびおう）

めでたい時節と月の巡り、喜びは極まりない。これから先いついつまでも楽しみが尽きることはない。

「嘉辰」は隋から唐にかけての文人である謝偃（しゃえん）の詩で、和漢朗詠集の「祝」の部に収められています。文字通り祝い事の席で多く歌われていたようです。

The aristocrats of the Heian period (794-1185) sang Chinese poems with verses and enjoyed reciting them as “Rouei”

I sang the most famous of them, “Kashin", as a solo.

嘉辰令月歓無極　萬歳千秋楽未央

Translation: Auspicious times, beautiful moon, the joy is endless. There will be no end to the fun in the future.

“Kashin" is a poem by Chinese poets Xie Yan (unknown - 643), which is included in the "Celebration" section of the Japanese and Chinese Poetry Anthology”Wakan-rouei-shu", and it seems to have been sung at many celebratory occasions.
