The mainline (the mountain-climbing Figure 8) has an extended track plan that lets it double up on top of itself as it climbs the mountain -- meaning that, with the second track (which is a small oval on the base level) at one point the tracks are stacked three tracks high. On the mainline, the uphill incline is 4% with 195 mm curves, while the decline is 5% with 170 mm curves. The small oval has a 120 mm curve.
