The XS Trem has become pretty popular recently with the release of the Carvin Holdsworth headless model. This is a response to the thread below.

If you are having tuning reliability issues, check your trem & make sure your rolling saddles aren't seized up. If they are, use a penetrating lube to free them up. I used a concentrated copolymer penetrant from Blaster Products because that's what was around at the time. I suppose something like this or a teflon based one would work as well. While I was at it, I lubed up all the moving parts of the trem. BAM! INSTANT FIX & TUNING STABILITY RESTORED!
