Day 2 of the Great Race 2025 is in the books! This isn’t your average road trip—it’s an endurance speed-prediction rally for classic cars built before 1974, demanding precision, mathematical accuracy, and nerves of steel.
We’re Riley Schlick-Trask (driver) and Jo Bejar (navigator), racing in the 1972 Corvette Stingray built for the Hemmings giveaway! Riley is tackling her first-ever rally, while Jo brings 6 years of rally navigation experience to the seat. Over the past two days, we’ve already scored TWO ACES—meaning perfect zero-second scores at secret checkpoints. It’s a nearly impossible feat… but we did it. Twice.
Here’s how it works:
Each team gets their instructions only 30 minutes before their start time.
Within 20 minutes, Jo has to complete all the math based on a custom calibration sheet we created just one day before the start.
From there, it’s up to us to hold perfect speeds using our rally speedometer—no GPS allowed, just precision driving and trust in each other.
This video is nearly 3 hours of pure rally action, showing you the intensity and focus behind every checkpoint, turn, and acceleration!
Huge thanks to our incredible sponsors who made this possible:
