How to paint kitchen cabinets (w/ Benjamin Moore ADVANCE) | Yes, you CAN do it!

Hi friends!

This is my experience using Benjamin Moore Advance enamel to paint my kitchen cabinets. This was a long process but TOTALLY doable for the motivated DIY'er. I actually had a lot of fun during the process and making the video. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL PAINTER

I used Benjamin Moore Advance paint tinted to Sherwin Williams 'Repose Gray'. Advance is a slow-drying enamel meant for cabinets, doors, trim, etc. I used a FOAM roller and a soft bristle Staalmeester brush.

(Yes, I sprayed barefoot because it was faster than having to take shoes off every time I needed to exit the painting area to get more doors or shuffle dry-to-the-touch doors around) The paint was not tracking anywhere because it was drying so fast, lol.

Upon completion of the project we added slow-close hinges to our doors! It's an easy and pretty cheap way to help your kitchen feel more luxurious. Plus we're having kids and they're about to throw down on our cabinets in the next few years.
