The Band of the Grenadier Guards - Guard of Honour for the Dutch Defence Minister 27th January 2025

The Band of the Grenadier Guards supporting a Guard of Honour on Horse Guards Parade in the afternoon of Monday 27th January 2025 for the visiting Dutch Defence Minister. The guard of honour was provided by No7 Company Coldstream Guards. Unfortunately due to Storm Herminia hitting London the band did not play during the rain on their way down Birdcage Walk but luckily the sun came out on the ceremony at Horse Guards Parade allowing the band to perform on the parade ground and on the return march to barracks.

The band was under the direction of their Director of Music Captain Porter and was led on parade by Senior Drum Major Household Division WO2 Chambers MVO.
