Heroes of Newerth | Best of Boxi

From Tree to BMG to Beer to Fnatic. This guy has been a part of some of the greatest teams and played with and against some of the best players HoN had to offer.

Boxi first became a fan favourite among the crowds of HoNcast as the play maker of Willow Keeper. They seemingly out of nowhere placed in the Diamond bracket of HoN Tour Season 3 to challenge the likes of Sync eSports and Reason Gaming. After consistently placing among the top 3 teams that season, they earned themselves a spot in the World Finals and also picked up the Bad Monkey Gaming sponsor. It would be the first time he claimed the title of World Champion.

Although Tree would not return to defend their title, Boxi would be back 2 years later. This time with a newly formed team of star players. Despite the lack of practise in HoN, Team Beer (later picked up by fnatic) would ultimately win him his second title. The players who were now mostly playing Dota 2, would reform to qualify to the World Finals yet again, but ultimately had little success in that tournament.

I would like to give Boxi a huge shoutout for his time in HoN and I hope he will work wonders in Dota 2. He's definitely been one of the most entertaining players we've seen on HoNcast, with iconic heroes such as Kinesis. Although he was often the shining star of the team, it was often because of them he could shine so bright. All his team mates throughout the years also deserve a big shoutout for shaping such a legend.

All of the plays in this video were played in competitive games from his time in Tree in HoN Tour Season 3 to the World Final Qualifiers with Beer in 2018. Managing to perform against the very best is certainly a feat in itself, but making plays like these in a competitive environment places him on an entirely different level.
