I am having a lot of fun working my way through a lot of vintage lace!
You Can Make This!
Supplies:
One wooden clothespin,
For face: Woodburning tool, Red acrylic paint, Fine-point permanent brown marker, Cosmetic blush, Cotton Swab, Paper plate, Bamboo skewer,
Small length of scalloped lace for bodice,
Twelve inches of 2.25-inch wide lace for skirt,
Ten Inches of 5/8-inch wide lace for waist ruffle,
Handsewing needle and quilting thread,
Sewing machine, Scissors, Tape measure, Hot glue gun,
Felt for wings and arms, (I used wool felt in ecru from Weir Crafts,)
Small paper forget-me-not flowers or other item for the angel to hold,
Yarn for hair (I used Fingering Kid Mohair Nylon Boucle from StickChick on etsy)
20-gauge gold wire, Wire cutters,
1-inch lace motif for halo,
Gold/white Baker's twine and needle large enough to accommodate it,
Die-cutting machine and scalloped circle dies to cut wing piece OR cut a 2.5-inch circle from felt.
