Day 2 of our trip to from West Khasi Hills district to South West Khasi Hills in Meghalaya. Our destination for the day was Mawruduk monolith Tyrong in Mawlangwir, Mawkyrwat division which is a heritage site in Meghalaya and to reach the place we took an unusual route across Mawlaisyiem village which is also named as 'Meghalaya's Tuscany' due to the landscape which you would know if you watch the video. We spent the night at Elasah guest house in Umiam which is a very beautiful property overlooking Umiam Lake. Contact number of the homestay is shared below:
