We take the road toward the East Yellowstone National Park entrance station, heading toward Cody, Wyoming. This takes us up and over the pass in the Park. This side is quite different from the others in sheer drop. We start filming outside of Fishing Bridge Village on the lake.
The area shows fire scars from past wildfires, some with new tree regrowth and some with none. That is due to fire intensity. Not super hot the pines release seeds that can grow to new.. TOO hot and they burn up not to make a new tree.
