How To Renovate An Old Quonset Hut

In this video we are taking a look at the re-skin process for a Quonset hut.
We are giving a Quonset hut in Illinois a fresh new look!

Our repair and renovation crew are busy making some changes to the building.

First up, they're taking off the old steel parts – the roof, trims, sliding door, and both end walls. Once that's done, they'll start putting on new Mini-rib 29-gauge steel to give the whole place a makeover.

They are also doing some extra work based on what the customer wanted. We're framing over an existing 11’ x 8’ sliding door on one end, and on the other end, there's a 26’ x 13’ sliding door getting the same steel treatment.
