EIT Manufacturing at Global Industrie 2025

“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” These words by Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh really resonate with us.

That’s why EIT Manufacturing focused on energizing the Startup Village at Global Industrie in Lyon. While it was just a small part of the large event, it was a vital one because startups are at the heart of innovation.

Here’s what we were up to:

🔎Explored the latest manufacturing trends while showcasing our activities, supported startups and European projects at our booth.
🤝Had a visit from distinguished representatives such as the resident of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Fabrice PANNEKOUCKE, and the president of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises, Franck Colcombet, who exchanged ideas on innovation in sustainable manufacturing.
🎤Hosted a dynamic programme at the startup pitch zone, featuring presentations and roundtables.
🏆 Held the audience choice award for the best startup pitch, with congratulations to Vincent RIGAL from CircularPlace for making it to the top!
📡 Explored the future of connectivity at the 5G Summit, a side event of Global Industrie.
🎥 Took the stage on BFM’s TV set to discuss innovation and sustainability in manufacturing.
