The Pasmo Passport has been discontinued as of June 25, 2024, which is a bummer. However, you can get still get the Tokyo Subway Ticket ($USD for unlimited travel) at most Tokyo Metro station's office. The staff will issue a magnetic card that's the size of a business card. They come in 3 colors depending on the duration the ticket is for.
Tip: You can buy a few of them at a time, then if you don't use some of them, you can return them for a refund. This way, you don't have to keep going back to the office each time you want to use a daypass. Please confirm with the staff when you purchase them. Have a great trip! 🙌https://www.tokyometro.jp/en/ticket/t...

00:13 Watch to the end of the video for tip on how to get unlimited travel for as cheap as $4USD on the Pasmo Passport!!!
00:37 Pasmo Passport is a special IC card, that works like a debit card. You load it with money, then use it to travel on trains and buses. It's only available to overseas tourists who are visiting Japan. You'll need to present your passport to get it. Valid for 28 days but works just like regular PASMO card. Pay with it anywhere. Highly Recommend! https://www.pasmo.co.jp/visitors/en/buy/
00:46 You can use it in Tokyo and the rest of Japan where IC cards are accepted.
00:53 If you see this IC sign, you can use the Pasmo Passport there.
00:57 It can even be used for shopping at department stores, Starbucks, McDonald's etc.
01:14 How do you get one? You can only get it at nine locations, so we recommend that you get it at Narita or Haneda Airport as soon as you land.
01:25 At Haneda Airport Terminal 3 (International Terminal), you need to go to the Keikyu Line, present your passport to get one.
01:49 Tip: to the left is the counter for buying bus tickets or tickets for the Limousine Bus.
02:40 The Keikyu Tourist Information Center is opened from 8am to 10pm.
02:46 If it's closed, then go straight to the ticket gate to purchase the Pasmo Passport from the staff in blue uniform.
02:55 You can purchase it from first train which is around 5am, till last train which is around midnight.
03:04 The ticket gate counter only accepts cash, so it is very important that you come to Japan with at least 1,500 Japanese yen. Extra Tip: Only cash or the Pasmo Passport are accepted on short distance trains and buses fares, credit cards are not accepted.
03:14 The 1,500yen will be loaded onto the card so you can start using it right away!
03:25 Show them your passport and cash, then you should be able to get the Pasmo Passport!!!
03:58 What about the regular Pasmo or Suica card??? As of this video, both the regular Pasmo and Suica card are not available due to a chip shortage. Please check the official website for updates!
