CX 7 oil leak part 6 - Not solved - Nerd discussion

This is a continuation of part 5 of the mystery oil leak on my cousin's 2008 CX-7 AWD. I have narrowed it down to the either the RTV gasket between the left and right half of the transfer case or maybe a less likely cause is the inner oil seal on the joint shaft (passenger side). I go into detail about what I did to narrow down the source, but do not solve it yet. I use Honda Bond (RTV) in hopes of stopping the leak because I dread removing the entire transfer case to properly reseal the left and right halves. But I may end up doing that anyway. On the bright side, I can now remove the passenger side CV axle and joint axle in about 15 minutes.
