Farnood Alam is a journalist and columnist based in Islamabad, recognized for his contributions to major publications across Pakistan. His writing covers a wide array of topics, including education, environment, health, politics, human rights, interfaith harmony, women’s rights, and cultural criticism. Since its inception in 2017, the project has successfully engaged over 400 journalists from across Pakistan through workshops, fellowships, awards, and global webinars.

In addition to his journalistic endeavors, Farnood is a highly qualified consultant with over a decade of experience in designing, supervising, and developing training programs.

Currently, he contributes as a columnist, blogger, and analyst for the Urdu service of Deutsche Welle (DW) and the leading newspaper Daily Jang. He also serves as the Director of Cyclorama Media, a production house based in Islamabad.
