Hi,
My name is James Nikolas. I write and produce my own music, but I hire singers to record the main vocal, and use producers to help with the back beats.
I finally gave in and bought an Isovox 2 home isolation booth. And it is awesome! This is also a review of the different ways I've isolated vocals when recording in my home studio over the past year or so. I'm still very new to home recording, but have gone through the steps. It's maddening to record and then after all is said and done, there is a noise in the background you didn't catch.
On this video I go through some of the different home remedies I've done leading up to the Isovox!
