Specialized Vado SL 2
Lightweight Power
Blast through the city, along country lanes at top speed, and cruise on cycle tracks and gravel paths, with the Vado SL 2.

Ride Impression
We recently took the Vado SL 2 to Swansea to see how it coped with the city streets and cycle paths. Check the video to see what we thought.

Aluminium Frame
The Vado SL 2 features an light E5 aluminium frame inspired by other Specialized World Championship winning machines such the Tarmac. The geometry is specifically designed with a slacker head angle and shorter reach for confident handling. This SL 2 comes in both alloy and carbon options and vary in weight and price. This SL 2 5.0 alloy model weighs just 19.4kg.

Specialized Drive System
Driven by the Specialized 1.2 SL motor the Vado is a quiet e-bike offering instant acceleration with 50Nm of Torque for steeper climbs and acceleration. Its 320 watts of power delivery feels smooth and natural. And with its 520Wh integrated battery, with it’s increased range you can ride for up to 5hours in turbo mode.

Future Shock
The Future Shock offers 20mm of travel between the stem and head tube, it’s smoother than a bike with a rigid fork. The Future Shock keeps your hands and bars steady for a smooth ride with more control to stay fast and confident. Part of the comfort of the Vado SL is also down to the 47mm Specialized Hemisphere tyres offering better traction and a more comfortable ride from the street to gravel.

Mastermind H3 Display
The Mastermind H3 display features a coloured screen, allows you to see your data such as Heart Rate, Cadence and Power, and can be customised through the Specialized App. Through the display and the Specialized App you can use the new security system called Turbo System Lock. This allows you to lock the bike via the app. If the bike moves while locked, it triggers an optional beeper alarm and lights. You can unlock your bike with the app or by entering your PIN using the remote.

Apple Find My App
An additional security feature of the Vado SL, is integrated location tracking using the Apple Find My app. No need to buy an air tag and fix it to your bike. Just sync the Vado SL Display to your iPhone and your bike becomes a findable device directly in the Find My app.

Lezyne E-Bike Lights
The Vado SL comes equipped with Lezynes E-bike integrated Power E500+ front light and Spanninga Commuter Glow rear brake light. These lights are connected directly to the bikes battery and will keep you seen especially in low light conditions and around other road users in busy areas with up to 500 lumens.

Additional Features
The bike also comes with a neat rear rack offering a carry capacity of 27kg and integrated alloy mudguards to keep you clean, making the Vado SL 2 perfect for your daily commute or riding to the shops.
