We're going with Air-Ride! I am going to haul my race truck and trailer around quite a bit this summer, and I want to help the truck handle the weight as best as it possibly can. While my 2020 AT4 HD is rated to haul an 18,500 lb trailer, and can go up to about 2,700lbs if its a gooseneck. The truck can handle the weight pretty good, but it will squat down quite a bit. To help stop the suspension from sagging, I'm installing a Firestone Ride-Rite airbag kit which will help hold up the weight.
I used the Firestone RideRite airbag kit which works for all 2011 to 2022 Silverado HD and Sierra HD trucks. The bags hold up to an additional 5,000 lbs, and while it technically won't increase your load rating of the truck, they will prevent it from sagging so much. On the compressor, I chose the HD pump option with the dual analog control switch panel.
Check out the parts used in this episode! Thanks to RealTruck for providing the suspension kit!
