The Who Oct 25 1982, Oakland Coliseum Arena

The better of the two Oakland shows on the 1982 "farewell" tour. For some reason, My Generation and I Can't Explain, the two opening songs, were not on this video. I was against the stage barrier, in front of Entwistle. Townshend smashes a guitar during WGFA; it was kind of a low-energy effort, considering how much history he has with guitar destructions, but it's kinda funny. To see it, start at 1:38:55. It was pretty wild to watch, we all started screaming, it was apparent that something went wrong for him, I presume something in the electronics but who knows exactly.
