”島嶼天光“ - Song of The Taiwan Protests

Island's Sunrise is a Taiwanese Hokkien song by the rock band Fire EX that was composed during the Sunflower Student Movement in 2014. This song has transcended the realm of music to become a representative anthem of Taiwan's social movements, widely regarded as a symbol of Taiwan's democratic struggle. Although "Island's Sunrise" was created in 2014, its underlying democratic spirit and resistance to injustice have made it relevant to Taiwan's social movements in 2024.
