'Caminho se conhece andando…' Paletadas Culturais como instrumento de afirmação do direito à cidade

Resumo: Paletar é um verbo conhecido pela/o soteropolitana/o que realiza deslocamentos a pé em seus trajetos pela cidade. Este trabalho nasce de uma perspectiva de vivências com a cidade a partir de percursos construídos a pé. Olhares consolidados desde a minha primeira infância, na década de 90, no bairro do Rio Sena, Subúrbio Ferroviário de Salvador. A ideia de andar por necessidade foi substituída pela possibilidade de acesso à contemplação. Pensando neste verbete em bom baianês e em partilhar experiências, sensações, surge em novembro de 2021 a iniciativa Preta Paleteira.
Abstract - “The path is known by walking…” Cultural Palettes as an instrument for affirming the right to the city
Paletar' is a verb known by the people of Salvador who walk on foot in their city journeys. This work emerges from a perspective of experiences with the city based on routes built on foot. These perspectives have been with me since my early childhood in the 1990s in the Rio Sena neighborhood, Subúrbio Ferroviário of Salvador. The idea of walking out of necessity has been replaced by the opportunity for contemplation. Thinking about this term in the distinctive Bahian manner and aiming to share experiences and sensations, the Preta Paleteira initiative was born in November 2021.
