This is my third year making this video, and I'm so excited to share it with you. This year has been a bit of a whirlwind, but l've tried to keep my decorating as cozy and relaxing as possible. It's always fun when I find something new for my vintage collection -this year we found an old vintage aluminum tree that had been stored up in the attic for decades, and it's beautiful and so shiny. This video is jam packed…and kind of random. So get comfy, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy 🎄

The Final Touch

🥫 Pasta Sauce

Ingredients -

1 Medium Onion
4-5 Cloves Fresh Garlic (more if you like!)
Few tbsp of Olive Oil
3 tablespoons Tomato Paste
1 Can San Marzano Tomatoes (these will soften. But if you don’t like pieces of tomato you can swap for more crushed tomatoes)
1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
1 Large Can Tomato Juice (you can also use broth! Beef broth would be good)

Spices 🪴 (use what you like💖)

Pepper
Salt
Basil
Oregano
Bay Leaf
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
1 tsp sugar
Allspice

Sauté onion with olive oil on a medium heat until onions are soft and translucent. Add garlic and stir together. Keep stirring to avoid burning garlic. (Lower heat if you feel it’s too hot) After about a minute or two add your tomato paste and mix

After another minute or so, add your cans of tomatoes, crushed tomatoes and tomato juice. Add your spices. Trust yourself! I don’t know exact measurements, but you’ll find out what you like. I always just give some good shakes of each spice. You can always add more later. Let sauce simmer on a low heat for 4 hours. Keep stirring every once in a while to avoid burning. Add some Parmesan cheese if you like it

This recipe is great with sausage or meatballs as well! But just on its own it makes a great vegetarian tomato sauce 🥫

🍫Cheesecake Balls (you can use any cookie you like. I used the fudge covered Oreos & Nutter Butters for a fun twist)

🍪 Ingredients

-8-10 Fudge Covered Oreos or Fudge Nutter Butter Cookies (experiment with cookies you like too)
-4 ounces cream cheese
-1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (for butter butter recipe..but this would go amazing with Oreo version too)

Blend together cookies, cream cheese (and peanut butter if using) in food processor. Roll in to balls on tray and freeze for 10 minutes

While balls are in freezer melt semi sweet or milk chocolate chips in a double boiler (I use a microwave safe bowl over a pot of simmering water)

Remove balls from freezer and roll cheesecake balls into chocolate to coat. Drop on to parchment paper covered tray. Top with sprinkles or cookie crumbs while chocolate is still melted and refrigerate or freeze until firm and chocolate is solid.
Make sure to keep these in fridge or freezer for storage as the cream cheese is not shelf stable.
