The Bacchae Explains Why Our Society Is DOOMED

The Bacchae, written by Euripides premiered at Athen's premiere theater competition, the City Dionysia in 405BC, a year after the playwright's death. To date, nobody is really sure what it's about, because once you try to figure it out you immediately fall into a tangled web of contradiction and paradox that will make you feel like you are either going insane, or always were insane and some tragedian from over 2000 years ago is just letting you know.
