Highlights from the Italian GP, held at Monza on 8th September 1991 🇮🇹
Original broadcast from the BBC with commentary from Murray Walker and James Hunt 🎙️
The main news between the Belgian and Italian Grand Prix revolved around Michael Schumacher, who had made his debut for Jordan in Belgium. The German was then confirmed at Benetton, while Roberto Moreno went the other way, taking Schumacher's place at Jordan.
Schumacher immediately outqualified his teammate Piquet for this race.
The race itself saw a good battle at the front, and action throughout the field.
During the post-race interviews the 2nd and 3rd place drivers (to prevent spoilers) are interviewed in Italian. But even for non-Italian speakers like myself it's easy to understand their explanation of the race.
