An SC man was killed by Florida deputies after an hours long standoff that he broadcast on Facebook Live. According to officials the incident began when deputies tried to contact him about an overnight domestic battery call. He then locked himself in his apartment went live on Facebook and made suicidal statements while showing a handgun.
Negotiators and family members spent the entire day trying to talk him out. After deputies used a chemical agent he came outside still holding the gun and pointing it at his own head. Moments later he fired his weapon and deputies returned fire killing him. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is now investigating.
