Sin duda uno de los pilotos más talentosos y una de las grandes pérdidas en la historia de la F1. Corrió a lado de Jackie Stewart, y contra pilotos como Emerson Fittipaldi, James Hunt y Ronnie Peterson. Desgraciadamente la muerte lo alcanzó en 1973 en Watkins Glen, no sin antes, haber dejado una importante huella en la F1.
