Toyota Inner CV Boot Mod: Tips and Tricks

Replacing inner CV axle boots on my 2004 Toyota Tundra and 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Other first gen Tundras and Sequoias are the same and may have similar issues with later models. The FJ Cruiser axle is the same as seen in various Tacomas, 4Runners and some Lexus GX. The inner boot is notorious for splitting and throwing grease. The factory axles are supposed to be the best quality, so the new boot lets you keep the axles.
The new boot is longer with additional splines. It is a "Bates Porsche" boot and can adapt to several models. No product sponsorship or endorsement.
