In 1996, the community of Gortjordan, in south Mayo, celebrated the centenary of their local National School.
Converted from VHS tape, this video shows a year to look back on with pride. This small, but vibrant, community rallied together to organise a year that is not to be forgotten.
There is also a separate video, Gortjordan Memories, that shows the school's former pupils from down the years recount their memories of their school days.
