In todays video we take a look at the all new 2025 BMW X1 M35i! In the past, the M35i was reserved for the BMW X2 and now not only is it on the BMW X1, but this is the first time the X1 has had an "M" edition! The 2025 BMW X1 M35i has a great looking exterior in my opinion! It's very sporty looking and even though this is the smallest SUV in the BMW lineup, aside from the X2, it has a large presence to it! The front end retains the kidney grill, but very proportional for it's size and the hood lines give it a great look! This 2025 BMW X1 M35i has upgraded horsepower, larger brakes, M sport everything, from the seats, to the steering wheel and it's exactly what an "M" should be like!
The interior for this 2025 BMW X1 M35i has the two tone seats and such a nice vibe! All of the materials are very nice and it's what you would expect from a BMW! For the price of right at $60K, it is expensive, but you are paying for all the performance and the "M" SUV that you are buying!
The 2025 BMW X1 M35i drives like an M BMW should! It's so much fun and with the exhaust or exhaust sound, it has a great sound! The shifts are smooth, and with the adaptive suspension, it's a smooth and comfortable ride! For a small SUV, it's spacious and practical and if you need a small and sporty SUV, the all new 2025 BMW X1 M35i is a great option!

The BMW X1, despite being the entry-level model in the brand's SUV lineup, delivers a surprisingly engaging driving experience, particularly in its base xDrive28i trim. Its compact size, refined chassis, and pair of lively turbocharged four-cylinder engines make it a standout in the luxury subcompact SUV segment.

The standard xDrive28i comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 241 horsepower. Paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive, it offers balanced performance and nimble handling, perfect for twisty roads. However, some turbo lag is noticeable during highway passing or merging. Enhancements such as adaptive dampers and shift paddles are available with the optional M Sport package, further refining the driving experience.

For those seeking more power, the M35i variant ramps up performance with a 312-horsepower version of the same engine, adaptive dampers, and upgraded brakes. While its sharper handling and powerful brakes impress, the ride can feel overly firm, and the engine exhibits some surging under hard acceleration.

Inside, the X1 boasts a clean, tech-forward cabin featuring a curved glass display housing the digital gauge cluster and center touchscreen. The system runs BMW’s iDrive 9 infotainment, complete with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. With its spacious interior, the X1 offers ample room for passengers in both rows, though it lacks the third-row option found in competitors like the Mercedes-Benz GLB-class.

For 2025, BMW has enhanced the X1 with standard heated front seats and 5G connectivity with eSIM support. The xDrive28i adds adaptive cruise control to the Premium Package, introduces Augmented Reality View to the Technology Package, and offers M Compound Brakes and a standalone panoramic moonroof as options.

While the Mercedes-Benz GLB provides more cargo and passenger space, it can’t match the BMW X1’s dynamic performance and driving enjoyment. For those prioritizing a fun, sporty small SUV, the X1, especially in xDrive28i trim, strikes the perfect balance of luxury, practicality, and engaging performance.
