[KiniNews] American conservative political commentator Bill O’Reilly has mocked Chinese President Xi Jinping’s official visits to Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia, questioning the economic value of Beijing’s outreach to these Southeast Asian nations.

O'Reilly appeared to be baffled by the strategic rationale behind Xi’s regional tour,

“Hey, President Xi, let me just break it to you. Those folks have no money at all. They cannot help you, they are not gonna buy your stuff because they don’t have any money,” he said.

Sin Chew Daily has suspended two of its editors pending investigations over a blunder in printing an illustration that featured the Jalur Gemilang.

The two are executive editor-in-chief Chan Aun Kuang and the daily’s deputy chief sub-editor Tsai Shwu San.

It said the decision takes effect immediately and will remain in place until the investigation is concluded.
