So I absolutely love this series. One of the reasons why I closed commissions back in January was so I could finally sit down and watch this Dragonball anime I've heard so much about. (One Piece is my favorite anime so I immediately felt right at home with hundreds and hundreds of episodes) I started with the original, and am glad I did, because it definitely has a special charm to it compared to Z, and it's funnier too! Then Z came along and just expanded upon it, while focusing more on action. I loved the beginning, and the Frieza arc was okay, albeit felt a bit long and dragged out (I know I could've watched Kai but I would've missed out on this amazing music and you probably wouldn't get this remix you're listening to right now) but then the Cell arc hit. This was the turning point for me that made me prefer Z over the original Dragonball. So many bad guys, so many questions, time travel, etc. It truly was the peak of DBZ for me. And then I heard this song play. It was stuck in my head for WEEKS. So I had to remix it. (While I felt the Buu arc was only just a slight downgrade from the Cell arc it was also amazing (Super Sayain 3 remix anyone? 👀)) At the time of typing this I'm about halfway through GT (I know I've heard it's meh, but I'm a completionist dangit!) Super excited to get to... Super ;) The Dragonball series has made it to my #2 spot as my most favorite anime of all time (Sorry but One Piece can't be beat!) and I can't wait to share with you some more remixes from it (provided the scary anime copyright gods don't grab me by the throat ;-;)
